God's Not Dead

I have three words to say about this movie: Go See It!!!!!!!
Okay, here are some more words...:):)
God's Not Dead is an amazing movie with an amazing, God honoring message. I can't think off better film to go see with family and friends.
Mom, Grace, Elisha and I were able to go on opening night on Friday, the 21st. We LOVED it so much that we wanted Dad and some friends to see it as well. We were able to go with them last night - I would so encourage everyone to go and see this movie!
Please go to this site to watch the trailer, find out more about the cast, etc.:http://godsnotdeadthemovie.com/

Josh Wheaton is a college freshman - and a christian. He is studying for a law degree and needs to take philosophy. In his first class, Professor Raddison wants all of his students to come to a unanimous consensus, to avoid wasting time debating, that God is Dead. Josh cannot bring himself to deny the existence of the God who is the reason he's alive, and who he has placed his trust in. This starts Josh on a journey of proving the existence of God before his class. With many of those he loves turned against him, Josh must trust God to give him strength and the words to say. Will he show his fellow students, Professor Raddison, and many others watching, the truth about God, or will he commit academic suicide, as many others are sure he will?
Watch this inredioble movie to find out!
It is totally worth it! Bring your family and friends!!!

Home Alone Part 3

Hello all!
I am wrapping up this post series with a "grande finale" post. Mom and Dad are home now, missing one bag, but home nonetheless.
We had a great week, all in all, while they were away. Aside from two days, Rosie was....almost a cherub. :)
She was so excited to see Mom and Dad this morning.:)

Wednesday was Jon's 11th birthday. He had a fun day. We closed the day by celebrating with Chris and Brittany and the girls, and the Lowman family.

Here's Rosie Jon on the same slide, almost 9 years apart!
Such cuties. :)

It was a great day! Thank you Thorn and Lowman families!

By Thursday we were ready for Mom and Dads return, but...we still had a day to get through!
By this time, we were getting a little case of cabin fever!

Thanks, everyone, for covering us in prayer while our parents were away!
They made it safely home early this morning and are very jet lagged. But...we are very glad to have them home and you all can rest assured that everything is {almost} back to normal! :):)

Home Alone Part 2

Home Alone Part 2

What could be a better day?
Two grocery/movie runs, yummy meals, movie time, cooking for church, and spending fun moments together. Who could ask for a funner time?

We have recently become more frequent patrons of the redbox, since Mom and Dad have taken these last trips. We'd never really used it before that!

Just realizing that Edward hasn't ever been away from our family, and how much I'll miss him during the time he's gone this year.

Grace made banana chips! We had fun snacking on those today! Yum!

And...Hazel is still running the house...or at least she thinks so!
:)
Stay tuned for Home Alone Part 3!

Home Alone Part 1

Home Alone Part 1

So we said goodbye to Dad and Mom at Manchester Airport. It seemed like a repeat of a couple of months ago when they departed to meet Jerry and Zoey. Lots has happened since then, and it seems like so long ago, but it also seems like yesterday. Things went really well...the drive home was better than last time, and there was no getting lost (don't ask what happened last time).
So here are some pictures from our farewell day yesterday.

Rosie was so sure that she was going on the plane, too!!

Edward will be in Texas when Mom and Dad get home!

Can you tell that someone is a bit tired of waiting to see the plane leave?

Mom and Dad are on there!

Getting sleepy are we?

I would say so!

Stay tuned for Home Alone Part 2!
