21 weeks 3 days

I'm in my 21st week of pregnancy and things are going great!
I have definitely noticed my belly increasing in size, as you may notice in the latest bump picture.
Becca has been kicking me a lot....I feel it more and more as she grows. She is now approximately 7 inches long, about the length of a banana! She's really growing!
The cartilage throughout her body is turning into bone, which is part of the reason I can feel her more.
I just can't wait to meet our precious daughter.
Mitchell is very excited to be a daddy. It's exciting for him when he can put his hand on my belly and feel Becca's kicks and movements. A few times I've noticed when he starts talking, it seems like Becca responds with a rapid fire of "bouncing!" I just know she already loves her daddy-o!

Here's this week's bump! Growing, growing, growing!

A busy, full house!

Last week Mitchell and I had some visitors....three of my siblings! We had them at our house while my parents were in Bulgaria, meeting the newest addition to the Winslow family. They had a great trip, and returned home safely Saturday night. I enjoyed having Edward and Nicole for the week, and Rosie for a little over half of that time. Since I don't get to see them super often, it was nice to spend time with them and do different things with them. Here are some snapshots from the week!

20 weeks 5 days

We just had my 20 week appointment today! Becca's heartbeat was 151, and everything is going great! She's not the only one growing...I've put on a few pounds since the last appointment, which is good, and normal!

The last few weeks have been good...I've been feeling great, aside from a few aches and pains.

Becca moves around so much now! It's so exciting to feel her kicks!

Twinkle twinkle little star

How we wondered what you were!

For so long we imagined and dreamed about who and what you would be, and now we finally know! Now we can call you by name!

Dear baby, we love you with all our hearts, and we are so happy to welcome you into our arms and lives. We will be a little family! It was so amazing and wonderful to see you on the ultrasound. We loved looking at your precious face the most! You are a beautiful person, and we can't wait to hold you in our arms.

We are so pleased to announce.......

The day we've been waiting for

Hi everyone!

The weeks have really gotten away from me, and I haven't been diligent in writing my weekly baby updates. So here's an update, and then I'll try to be more regular with my posts.

I am now 19 weeks and 2 days. I've been feeling pretty good, but tired a lot....I think some of it has to do with the fact that I'm not quite used to the time change yet. Last week I was down for a day with the stomach bug....which was not fun, at all. That was on Wednesday, and I spent the next two days resting and recovering. Everything is really amplified when you're pregnant! But now I'm feeling much better, praise the Lord!
Pregnancy "symptoms" now are just some abdominal cramping, which is due to all the stretching that's going on to accommodate growing baby. I also have achy-ness in my calves and shins. If I sit up or stand up to fast, I get dizzy, so I have to be careful to remember to slow it down! It's really a new way of life that has to be learned day by day. Like not sleeping on my back anymore, because this prevents proper bloodflow. So now I sleep with a pillow up against my back so that I don't roll flat onto my back in the night. Little things like that. :)

Today is a VERY special day, one that we have been waiting for for sooooo long! We are going to find out what the baby is! I am so excited, I had trouble falling asleep last night. I just can't wait till 2 this afternoon! Stay tuned for the big reveal! :)

Please be praying for my friend from VA, Sabrina, who will probably give birth today, or very soon after!
