We had our first ultrasound yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing to see our baby for the first time!
As soon as the ultrasound started, we saw a very, very active little one! It was almost jumping around in there! It would go from all curled up to completely stretched out as quick as a flash, and back again. We were so amazed! Just the fact that we were seeing our baby was incredible.
It's too early to tell the gender (we have an appointment for that in about six weeks), but Mitchell started calling the baby "he" the minute we saw it. All day he kept catching himself saying "he." Who knows! We will just have to wait and see.
Seeing OUR BABY moving all around in there had to be one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. Just the fact that he or she is ours....and seeing it... Just made it all so much more real. This is actually happening! We are parents!
The pictures don't do justice what we saw on the screen when the baby was moving and kicking and such, but you can catch a glimpse of our precious little child that we can't wait to meet and hold!
