In 44 Days...

....I'll be Mrs. Mitchell Collomy!

Things are busier than ever here, as wedding plans continue to be well underway! In and among that, we have welcomed Jolianne Hopeful into our lives (and arms!) and we are so happy that she is here, safe and sound. Both mom and baby (and family) are doing very well! She is so precious. Another reminder of God's goodness, design, and blessing. He is so good to give us gifts that we don't deserve!

As far as wedding plans go, we are daily getting RSVPs. It is so exciting to think, "Wow, people are actually coming to this!" We are preparing decorations, brain storming about favors, etc, etc. My dress is getting finished, and I am so excited about it! Its so wonderful that I have had people offering to help me in so many ways. I am still in awe of all the ways that the Lord is blessing this!

All the while I am slowly packing my things, getting ready to move things to our sweet little house in Parsonsfield. I am so excited to begin homemaking! And to share it with the most amazing man in the world. I am also savoring these last weeks at home with my family - its going to take some getting used to, not being where all the business and action is that I am very accustomed to!

The Lord is so good, and He has blessed me far beyond what I could ask or think! I am so thankful!

  2. I just realized your wedding day is going to be celebrated on my parents 45th anniversary. It is a very good day for a wedding -- and their marriage has been a testament to that! God bless you both. (I don't know if you remember us from our Moose Hillock trips), but your mom can remind you if not. Anyway, hoping for you much happiness and blessing and a marriage that endures all the highs and lows the years are sure to bring. It is a pleasure to watch you grow in wisdom and stature and to follow your blogging journey. Congratulations.
