A day in the life....

I was probably a couple days old here.

Uncle Matt....I remember I always loved spending time with him. :)
They say I would fall asleep anywhere!!! :)
At my first birthday party, it rained buckets!!!!
We went to a red sox game on my third birthday!
A goat-herder from the beginning!
Clowning around with Grampa!

Lots of memories

I enjoyed a great day at work today....got flowers from my boss....got an iced coffee from a coworker...enjoyed subs with my mom and sisters at lunchtime....had a wonderful dinner and evening with the family...
And now I'm walking down memory lane with pictures over the last nineteen years of my life.
Thanks, Lord, for a blessed day!!

Jesus Calling

At work today, I was looking at a devotional called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. The way she writes is as if Jesus were talking to you. It's really powerful. Here's the devotion for tomorrow, July 17:

Come away with me for a while. The world, with its nonstop demands, can be put on hold. Most people put Me on hold, rationalizing that someday they will find time to focus on Me. But the longer people push Me into the background of their lives, the harder it is for them to find Me. You live among people who glorify busyness; They have made time a tyrant that controls their lives. Even those who know Me as Savior tend to march to the tempo of the world. They have bought into the illusion that more is better: more meetings, more meetings, programs, more activity.
I have called you to follow Me on a solitary path, making time alone with me your highest priority and deepest Joy. It is a pathway that is largely unappreciated and often despised. However, you have chosen the better thing, which will never be taken away from you. Moreover, as you walk close to Me, I can bless others through you.

a great ending to a wonderful day

So we had a great day today, starting with church (<3) and then a cookout with Dads family in Deerfield. Here Gregg is trying to get Dad to sign up for an interesting race with him. ;)

Then mom drove Grace, Elisha and I to meet up with friends and play frisbee golf. What fun!!!!

Then after the fun, we ended with enjoying ice cream!!! Yum
Thanks, Lord, for every blessing! For friends, fun times and precious moments!!!!!
