Bundle of Joy!

We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting a baby! It's due August of 2016!
We are excited to be parents, and are greatly anticipating the day when we get to see his or her face and hold him or her in our arms for the first time! I'm almost through the first trimester. Morning sickness has been rough, but its getting better as the days go by.
It's so much fun to dream what our little baby's future will hold, and we pray that we will be the best parents we can be. Our heart's desire is that our child grows up to love the Lord with all its heart! We are also realizing the huge responsibility of parenting a child. We will be responsible for that baby's life! It's going to be a big change, but we are excited to welcome every challenge and the many blessings headed our way.

Sweet siblings!

Had a wonderful time visiting my family last week. It's always so much fun to spend time with them, and when I get a chance to visit its definitely precious time, since I'm not super close by! I'm amazed at how much the kids have grown lately. I never used to notice as much, seeing them every day. Now a week or sometimes two can go by between seeing them, and I'm shocked. I've especially noticed that Jon is getting taller, Rosie is getting more mature (but she's always been independent!!!), and Jerry is growing his vocabulary. JoyAnna is so responsive, and Grace is fitting quite well into "the oldest at home" role.
